1st conditional = future
If + present s., will + inf.
If it rains tomorrow, Gloria will stay in her hotel room.
2nd conditional = hypothetical present
If + past s., would + inf.
If I spoke English better, I would apply for the job.
3rd conditional = past
If + past perfect, would + have + p.p.
If they had known you were coming, they would have baked a bigger cake.
